Texture shots are fun books to read. This one tells of a small boat that caught fire while out fishing; the lone fisherman was a smoker, the fish weren't biting, and he dropped off for a nap. But his burning cigarette fell atop a bit of paper trash on the boat's bottom, which ignited a piece of rope leading to the fuel tank -- and thank goodness, that fuel tank was 99 per cent empty, so there was a brief flash of flame but no explosion. Enough to scorch the boat and send the sleepy fisherman plunging into the cold water, from which he swam to shore, and lived to fish another day. He dragged the boat's burnt hull to his fishing camp, where it sits to this day beside the small end of the lake. The end.
