this is a vast front of the Florentine Cathedral. The place itself is more overwhelming on the outside than it is on the inside.
i guess comming from a small town and having the biggest building nearest to you being a 4 story clock tower doesn't help much.
this cathedral itself could eat our clocktower. and the photo itself is only a portion of the front.
